Julia Duckworth was Education Manager at the National Interactive Video Centre (NIVC) between 1987 and 1992.

Julia Duckworth Julia worked on the dissemination of the Interactive Video in Schools (IVIS) project that the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) funded, along with the Domesday project from the BBC to all the Local Education Authorities in the UK. Julia later received funding from the Traning and Vocational Education Initiative (TVEI) unit to make a laserdisc for all HE departments to show them the advantages of TVEI using laser disc and barcode technology.

The archive is directed and maintained by Richard Millwood of Core Education UK supported by Sandra Crapper, Maureen Gurr, Margaret Cox, Nick Rushby and Joy Hooper. Much of the archive was gathered in the years 1990 - 2006 by Prof Stephen Heppell with Richard Millwood and stored at Ultralab at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford. In its early days it was catalogued by Greta Mladenova and in 2006 Rex Wingate helped to organise the items in store. More recently, since 2011, Doreen Wright, Nick Rushby, Chris Monk and Joy Hooper have been helping catalogue the materials and develop policies.
