ULTRALAB IN TURKEY

Preparing for our session on the online community

Anthony and I spent last week in a beautiful snow-covered Turkey.

We were there to meet with the partners of the EU funded Collier project. We are bringing together school leaders from around Europe to work collaboratively on action research projects to improve practice and create international links between the participants.

This meeting was hosted by the partners from Anadolu University in Eskisehir, whose hospitality was incredible.

The project draws on lessons from the Ultraversity project, where students plan action research projects within their work role, while part of an online community of fellow researchers.

The next time we meet our European colleagues will be in Kingston on Thames in November, along with the new students. If we can show them half of the hospitality the Turkish partners showed us, we'll be doing well!
