In June 2002 we organised the first NCSL online conference. The theme was Thinking Skills and featured Dr Edward de Bono, Prof. Robert Fisher and Dr Vivienne Baumfield. The format was radically new, used the Talking Heads community software and was immensely successful with 1200 school leaders signing up to attend the conference in the first two days after advertisment. The conference was followed by a face-to-face seminar at NCSL in September 2002 with Dr Fisher leading. Again this conference was innovative in format and use of technology.
