Mark Constable's brief cvold
Mark Joined Ultralab in 2001 as a Research Assistant to study the
Place and Perception of Technology in the National Curriculum.
His main responsibliltes were the collection, manipulation and analysis
of large volumes of data. He has conducted a national survey of the IT
Freedoms and and Facilities Availiable to UK Higher Education Students,
the main findings of which were printed in the Financial Times, THES
and other publications.
Mark has also worked collaboratively on Video and Audio Streaming in an
effort to improve telepresence for Ultralab's many remote workers.
Mark's favourite part of the job is working with people from all age
groups at digital creativity events and has been fortunate to be
involved in many of the Digital Creativity Projects run by Ultralab.
In 2004 Mark was a researcher on a project for CABE (Commission for
Architecture and the Built Environment) to look in to the Future of
Learning Environment Design. Since then he has worked with a
number of school, helping them to create flexible learning spaces.
Currently Mark's main responsiblilites are the research, creation and support of online tools for Ultraversity.
