ALT-C 2008 archive URL

The National Archive of Educational Computing is to be found in the Balcony area near registration and the entrance to the Demo Room/IT cafe.

We hope to be adding to a timeline of Higher Education developments in educational computing, collecting stories, pledges and support.

All are welcome to come and participate.

The archive is directed and maintained by Richard Millwood of Core Education UK supported by Sandra Crapper, Maureen Gurr and Margaret Cox.

The British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA)were archive sponsors in 2008 and Becta are sponsors in 2009.

Much of the archive was gathered in the years 1990 - 2006 by Prof Stephen Heppell with Richard Millwood and stored at Ultralab at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford.

In its early days it was catalogued by Greta Mladenova and more recently Rex Wingate helped to organise the 530 items in store.
